For this reason, *has emerged the need to provide precise standards that can promote the growth and use of palm oil-based products resulting from the responsible management of oil palm plantations* that have now become so important for numerous production chains. ### WHAT is RSPO? [**![](https://blog.ecsa-chemicals.ch/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/RSPO-logo-uai-258x258-1-Jun-06-2025-08-09-48-1687-AM.png?width=258&height=258&name=RSPO-logo-uai-258x258-1-Jun-06-2025-08-09-48-1687-AM.png)RSPO - Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil**](https://rspo.org/)is a non-profit association that aims *to promote the cultivation and use of sustainable palm oil through global certification standards.* The main objective of [RSPO](https://rspo.org/) is therefore to encourage not only the cultivation but also the use of sustainable palm oil in order to reduce the environmental and social impacts resulting from the cultivation of this type of oil.
